Yoga Thoughts On And Off The Mat

Everyday I see your bodies speaking to me through the motion of yoga poses. Before, during and after class, I love to hear your qoutes and quips and I so often wish I could remember them all. Maybe now I can...help me gather a memorable collection of Yoga Gratititudes. Add as many as you like with or without your intials or name; just fill in the text box below and I will update our list regularly for all to share.  In sharing a qoute from others please provide their name for credit...thanks and have fun

Researchers at the German Institute of Human Nutrition released the results of a study indicating that people with a daily intake of chocolate averaging 0.3 ounces (7.5 grams) had lower blood pressure and a 39 percent lower risk of heart attack than those who ate less chocolate.  Six grams of chocolate is equivalent to about one small square of a 3.5 (100 grams) ounce bar.
Researchers think the flavanols in cocoa could be why chocolate seems to be good for blood pressure and heart health, and since there is more cocoa in dark chocolate, dark chocolate may have a greater effect. Sounds wonderful, but there is, as always, a note of caution. Small amounts of chocolate may help to prevent heart disease, but only if it replaces other energy-dense foods, such as snacks, in order to keep body weight stable," he said.

One square a day. Would someone please pass the chocolate...
